Network Buying Group (NBG) was formed.
Founded by a small group of IT resellers who were originally part of the National Association of Specialist Computer Resellers (NASCR), but became disallusioned with its direction … and Network Buying Group was born! Founding Members included John Dollery of Computerbase, Richard Gandy of Computer Cavern and Steven Lightfoot Snr of Pudsey Computers who are still Members of the Group today!

NBG is reborn as Network Group (NG) - Network Group created two major new initiatives to support its Members at this time. The second, was a focus on commercial benefit, with regular special offers being negotiated by the Group, for Members to take advantage of.

David Tulip joins NG as a Head of Managed Print, a group initiative designed to save our Members time and money on printing supplies, maintenance and cost.

Launch of Inventory Hub which later became Catalyst - a unique procurement tool developed by Members, for Members. A live feed giving Members the ability to search products, pricing, comparisons and stock availability from a catalogue of ~4.6 million products!
