ConnectWise will be leading an optional Incident Response Workshop for NG Members from 1.30pm – 5pm.

Introducing the ConnectWise Incident Response Tabletop Workshop

We know cybersecurity needs to encompass People, Process and Technology(PPT) but what are some of the ways we can demonstrate to end customers the importance of PPT?

How do we make the risk real to the end customer whilst still adding value, avoiding FUD and selling widgets?

More information to follow soon.

12:00pm            Keynote - A Better Way with Greg Van Der Gaast

Starting life as a teenage hacker who spent several years working undercover for the US DoD and FBI after hacking a nuclear weapons facility, Greg is the best-selling Author of “Rethinking Infosec” and “What We Call Security”, a former CISO and Chief Technologist, and now Managing Director at Sequoia Consulting. Unlike most in the field of cybersecurity, his focus is on addressing the often non-technical causes that lead to the introduction of vulnerabilities rather than firefighting these symptoms, transforming security from a risk management cost-centre to one that lowers costs by preventing risk from occurring in the first place.

In his talk, A Better Way, Greg will be taking a look at the fundamental reasons why security is struggling to keep up with the growing number of threats and vulnerabilities, as well as what concepts from other more mature industries can be applied to reverse the tide.

Highlights from last year

Hear from our Members

“We find the marketing track really useful for sharing expertise and finding out what’s going on in the MSP world. If I’ve got a problem, I can just put it in the Slack channel and people come back really quickly with suggestions. To be able to have a group that I can go to and say, ‘am I doing this right?’ has been really useful.”

Jess Dugdale, 1-Fix

Hear from our Members

“We tried other peer groups that weren’t industry specific,so thought we’d give Network Group a try … we’ve made friends with great peers who I’m still friends with now, and it’s not just about the Members, it’s about getting a good relationship with vendors. We’ve quadrupled in size since joining Network Group, the business has significantly changed.”

Scott Clark, Think Cloud

Hear from our Members

“From the very beginning, one of the reasons for entering into NG was the buying power, but as time goes on, it’s the collaboration, it’s the sharing of data. We’ve built some fantastic friendships and relationships, and along with that it’s great to meet vendors face to face … you always have a direct line to them – I don’t know where else you’re going to get that.”

Alison Cooney, Cusken Sync IT

Hear from our Members

"The thing I look forward to most is the relationships with people.

The things that we've learned, that have improved our business, and the things that others can learn from us that might help them in their business - it's the community, we all grow stronger by learning from each other"

Chris Morrell, ProDrive
