Network Group kicks off 2025 with Vision

Growth, innovation, and collaboration are essential to thrive in the channel. Our events are the perfect platform to connect with industry peers and our Vision event at the beginning of February was the perfect way to kick off 2025.

Held at The Grand, Birmingham, Vision was full of industry insights and sessions designed to provide actionable tips and tools necessary for navigating the challenges of the year ahead. Our events are designed to not only inspire but to offer takeaways to help each other thrive in the current market. Partner-led roundtables, workshops, and expert-led focus sessions, Vision delivered on a range of hot topics in our industry right now. Here’s a rundown of the top moments …

Strengthening knowledge, networks and expertise

The Partner-led roundtable discussions covered a wide array of business-critical topics, and with separate technical and business track sessions Members were able to delve deeper into their areas of interest and explore practical solutions applicable to their business operations.

Training workshops with leading Partners like: Brigantia, Cynomi, Rewst, Huntress, Liongard and Pax8 delivered specialised sessions. Attendees were able to engage directly with experts who shared their knowledge on the latest trends, tools, and techniques. Headline sponsor and new vendor, ContraForce also delivered a great introduction to its security services delivery platform.

Workshops covered key topics including:

· Mastering MSP Success – practical tools and insights backed by Liongard

· Robots are Coming – how businesses can leverage robotic technology with Pax8

· MSP Automation: Past, Present, and Future – led by Rewst

· Building and growing a profitable compliance and vCISO program – insights from Cynomi

· One team, one vision: unlocking the Huntress advantage – Hosted by Huntress

· Achieving cyber confidence – A session by Brigantia and CyberSmart

· Building a high-margin, hands-free security services business – insights from ContraForce

These sessions provided attendees with valuable knowledge, equipping them with strategies to enhance their operations, stay ahead of industry trends, and drive business growth.

Keynote speakers

One of the most anticipated sessions was the keynote presentation from Jim Lusty at Upping Your Elvis. With over 20 years’ experience helping the likes of Nike, Unilever, Diageo and Kingfisher to get their energy right, Jim shared his experiences and simple ways to kick-start a creative culture with a focus on why daily experimentation is key to a dynamic, energised and successful team.

Other fantastic presentations also included:

· How we can attract and retain women in tech by transforming workplace culture into an inclusive, high-performing ecosystem – delivered by Geeta Sidhu-Robb, Founder & CEO of WCorp.

· Jamie Marshall's session on: Unlocking new revenue streams: why MSPs need to offer Microsoft Dynamics services.

· Meg Fenney's essential session designed to help SMEs to understand more about the new legislative requirements - 'The greatest change to employment law in a generation'.

Collaboration

Our events are not just about one-off interactions, they’re about cultivating long-term relationships and creating a strong sense of community within the Network Group. By working together and building connections through our events it undoubtedly leads to future collaborations, referrals, and partnerships, further contributing to the ongoing success of our community. Vision ensured that every participant walked away with something of value.

Looking ahead

As always, our events demonstrate the power of community, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional development. It was a clear reminder that the future of business success lies not only in the technology we adopt but also in the connections we make and the skills we continue to develop.

Vision embodied Network Group's core mission of providing our Members and Partners with the resources, support, and opportunities to thrive in a competitive industry. Plans are already well underway for our next Network Group event: Exhibition, Gala and Awards and we cannot wait to welcome our community to Manchester for our highlight event of the year.
